About Us
Clarisse Connect was founded by two high school students from St Mary's International School in Tokyo, Japan.
The whole project started when we looked for a volunteer opportunity that was available over the summer of 2021. However, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, most of the Non-Profit Organizations that we searched were closed, and especially when it came to searching for English available volunteers, options were very limited.
Unsurprisingly, many of our friends encountered the same problem.
Therefore, we decided to create an online platform where students can visit to find volunteer opportunities they want to challenge, with clarity of NPOs' safeties to a certain level.
Over the whole summer, we had put a lot of effort into examining nearly 100 NPOs in Tokyo, and finally succeeded to 'connect' with 4 principled NPOs to work with.

Our mission is to provide the students with the opportunities to participate in the volunteering activities they find meaningful.
By "Connecting" both the demand of Non-Profit Organizations that seek for enthusiastic participants, and the demand of International school students who seek for valuable volunteer experiences available around them, we hope to beget a strong power of aid to the fields in any needs.
