HEIWA FOR ALL
Heiwaforall is a student-led volunteer group founded by high school students from International schools in Japan.
They are active around in Yokohama and Tokyo.
They work to solve environmental problems, mainly pollution due to trash left in public places.
Heiwaforall had their first beach cleaning event on July, 2021.
Message from Heiwaforall
Japan is known as one of the safest, cleanest, and most eco-friendly countries in the world. However, as citizens of this country, we noticed countless environmental flaws which we believe could be resolved. There is a reputation that people our age are not powerful enough to make a significant impact on the world. We disagree. Despite our age, we believe that bringing people together and collaborating as a whole will create the change necessary for our future.
We will take action by organizing/hosting social events and spreading awareness on certain urgent matters that need to be discussed and resolved.
*Our social events are also a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends!
