On this day, we participated in our first beach cleanup volunteer experience through our partner organization, Heiwaforall, at Chigasaki Southern Beach in Kanagawa prefecture!
13 SMIS students out of 50 participants joined through Clarisse Connect, and we were able to collect 20+ bags of litters and few other large-sized garbages from the beach in two hours.
Collected litters will be taken care of by Heiwaforall's partner organization, Kanagawa Beach Beautification Foundation (かながわ美化財団), along with litters collected by other volunteers.
